Are you licensed and insured in California?
Yes. RAA Construction Group is a fully licensed California general contractor, bonded, and carries comprehensive general liability and workers' comp insurance. License details are available on request.
What does "design-build" actually mean?
One team, one contract, one point of accountability - from design and engineering through permits and construction. You don't hire an architect, a contractor, and an interior designer separately; you hire us and we coordinate everything.
What areas of Los Angeles do you serve?
Based in Woodland Hills, we work across the entire San Fernando Valley, Calabasas, Pasadena, the Westside, and most of LA County within about a 25-30 mile radius of our office.
How long does a typical remodel take?
Depends entirely on scope. Bathrooms run 4-12 weeks, kitchens 8-14 weeks, additions 6-14 months, and ground-up custom homes 14-22 months. We lock in a realistic schedule with your signed proposal.
Do you offer fixed-price or cost-plus contracts?
Fixed-price. Every proposal is itemized and committed - we absorb cost fluctuations once you sign. Change orders only happen if you decide to change the scope.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes. We pull permits, coordinate plan check corrections, schedule inspections, and close out the permit with the certificate of occupancy. Not your problem.
